An evening with the Voice Over network

Hello friends,

Earlier this year I received a call from Rachael Naylor regarding a new venture. For those of you who don’t know Rachael she is a prolific Voice Over Artist with an extraordinary portfolio of Blue Chip clients and it is well worth checking out her website.

Voice Over Network

Rachael’s new venture is a group called The Voice Over Network which is designed to bring VOs together for mutual support, joint workshops and fun! I have been a member since May and each month there is a meetup in central London. In August the scene was Gerry’s Club in Soho (my Grandfather’s old stomping ground) and the topic of the evening was…audiobooks!

I had a thoroughly illuminating evening talking with two of my great inspirations: Helen Lloyd and Anna Parker-Naples as well as meeting numerous other fascinating people including the boss of London Voice Over Studio, Simon Wilkinson.

I can’t recommend The Voice Over Network highly enough. Whether you’re at the beginning of your career or are well established Rachael has created a forum that benefits us all!
